AOJ PHILIPPINES successfully secure the PCAB License with Category AAA of Classification “General Building”,
“General Engineering” and “Specialty-Electrical Work”.
PCAB is a government agency attached to the Department of Trade and Industry and is one of the
implementing Boards in the Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines (CIAP).
R.A. 4566 as amended by P.D. No. 1746 in Philippines provides that no contractor (including sub-contractor
and specialty contractor) shall engage in the business of contracting without first having secured a
PCAB license to conduct business.
According to the "Classification" of the project, licenses are divided into Three Classifications: GENERAL ENGINEERING,
GENERAL BUILDING, SPECIALTY. Under various classifications, there are Five Categories of ABCDE, with A level further
divided into four levels: A, AA, AAA, and AAAA. The classification of levels is to distinguish different levels of construction units,
which represent different construction capabilities, so the scale of projects that can be undertaken should also be different.
Being a Licensed PCAB Contractor with Category AAA, AOJ PHILIPPINES is entitled to undertake large scale projects.
